Is Blizzard Beach in Walt Disney World fun???
Blizzard Beach is one of three water parks in the WDW resort (the other two being Typhoon Lagoon and River Country). A common misconception by a lot of people is that it’s directly inside one of the four main parks (Magic Kingdon, Animal Kingdom, MGM Studios, or Epcot), but it’s really it’s own standalone park, with its own parking lot, turnstiles, and of course it’s own admission fee. It’s a good way to spend a day, that’s no doubt, provided you enjoy the water, don’t mind being in a bathing suit all day, and you have no problem constantly re-applying sunscreen. Blizzard Beach has a lot of different things to do, from the white-knuckle Summit Plummet, to the casual Toboggan Racers, and the family-inclusive Teamboat Springs. One thing to bear in mind is that EVERY RIDE WILL GET YOU WET! Do not go if you plan on doing things that will keep you dry, because you will find nothing to do!
