‘Spotting’ or even heavier ‘break through bleeding’ such as you describe sometimes occur during tablet taking, especially during the first few cycles and will normally settle spontaneously. Should your symptoms persist, then a clinical assessment and further investigation by your doctor may become necessary in order to diagnose the cause of your bleeding.
