Bitsy’s owner, Auriette Lindsey of Pensacola, Fla., is trying to find out if her feline friend can snatch the Guinness Book of World Records title for the World’s Smallest Cat, WEAR-TV reported. Bitsy is 1.5 pounds, six and a half inches tall and 18 and 3/4 inches long. “It all has to be done very officially,” Lindsey told WEAR-TV. “They wanna see video; they wanna see pictures of the measuring to make sure it was all done correctly.” Bitsy, who Lindsey described as “very demanding,” is the offspring of normal-sized cats, and came from a litter of normal size cats. Lindsey said the current record holding cat lives in Louisiana and weighs in at 3 pounds — but is not as long as Bitsy.
