As a business owner, I think there are some things the city could do to encourage new business coming to town. We could look at partial tax deferments, supporting improved communication options, and other resources that may keep some larger employers from looking elsewhere. One idea is the city could create a “package” open to all businesses (over a certain size) as an incentive to come to Billings and create jobs. We do have many smaller businesses, but large employers are lacking. If Billings could entice a few larger companies i.e. manufactures or other good paying companies would be great. Billings has a relatively low cost of living and the quality of life here is very good. We have a lot to offer that could entice companies to consider Billings and individuals to move here. • How come Billings is always doing studies and yet nothing changes? There probably are many reasons for this, but it does seem like I often read about some new study for traffic on 24th or similar items that
