Is Bible Codes 2000 the same program used by Professor Rips in his pioneering research?
Bible Codes 2000 uses the same mathematical skip code method used by Dr. Rips, but it is not the same software. Dr. Rips did his pioneering research in the 80s, before the advent of Windows, and published his findings in 1994. Computronic Corporation, the leading Israeli developer of Bible software, uses the same skip code in its own program, developed under Windows, adding at the same time many other features, which are described below. The program includes the text of the whole Tanach, from Genesis to II Chronicles. Its Hebrew text is the authorized Koren text, shown with nikud (vowels).
