Is benevolent dictatorship better than so called buerocratic democracy?
In theory, probably. The problem with benevolent dictatorships is that once you give your benevolent Leader the power to get past all that bureaucratic inefficiency, you have no guarantee that the power will be used for benevolent purposes. And even if the current dictator really is benevolent, there’s still the problem of succession.
