um yeah its ok but most even the slowest nowadays is like ten mbps but that doesnt mean you can use all ten so yeah if you got it use it i would but the 40 or 50 it would cost for a new one i think i would go new even a kid could crack the old stuff and you should use some sort of security WPA2
