IS BEING WITHELD FROM THE EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF BLACK STUDENTS?
The notion that African Americans have not contributed significantly to the world is totally inaccurate. Despite cultural traumas wrought by the injustice of racism and slavery, African Americans have made significant contributions to society and, indeed, to the world through advances in technology, medicine, science, arts, and the humanities. The following is an incomplete list of some of the astounding and much needed positive information that is being systematically withheld from the educational development of African American students. The following are all African Americans, past and present.
