To set the perspective appropriate, let me say something relevant (which may not look relevant initially). I started accumulating books when I was in secondary school (senior high). But they were all written by Christian authors. I didn’t know my world view was skewed until I went to university in Canada. There, I met young people from all over the world, with all kinds of religious and non-religious beliefs and opinions. Over the years, as I started my career, got married, had four children, I continue to read widely and buy those books which I find worth keeping. I now have more than 2,000 books in my personal library, covering a wide range of subjects. I have books on Islam, Buddhism, Taoism, and many other religious, cultural, scientific, philosophy, history, and sociology topics. So you can see that my view has improved a lot.
