Is Being Able to Get Out of Parking Tickets Really a Good Thing? Monday June 14, 2010Last week council voted to make public what was previously an insider-only document, the city’s “Parking Ticket Cancellation Guide”. A handy PDF version quickly appeared online, and it’s now significantly easier to come up with a potentially winning approach when you want to fight a parking ticket here in Toronto. While I understand the motivations of Councillors Howard Moscoe and Denzil Minnan-Wong when they pushed to have the information released, I’m worried this will do more good for people who really were parked illegally and are just looking to wiggle out of paying for it. Do you think the release of the information was a good thing? Comments (0)See All Posts
