Is being a lawyer a good job?

It is a great deal of work, not only an intensive study program to get your J.D., but also the desk work most lawyers have to do after school before they get to handle trials, depending on the firm. If it’s something that greatly interests you, or something that holds special meaning for you, like working in Criminal Justice or for Public Defenders, then I’d say go for it, although neither of those pays as well as private practice. If you like arguing, crude though it may sounds, and if you think you have a good grasp on logic, philosophy, and thngs along those lines, it’s definitely something you should consider.

its a very hard job lots of paperwork lots of school its not like in the movies where u make a crazy speech in front of a jury u have to do something with arbitrations (look it up because i dont really know what they are) the job u get is highly based on what law school u went to on the other hand u will probably make around 75k+, a lot more if u went to a good school the job can be very interested you might be held in high regard because of your position
