Is becoming a radiology tech a good career choice?

Yes, it is quite respectable and there are many areas you can expand into (interventional, ultrasound, MRI, CT etc). Plus there aqre shift differentials, call schedules etc. What Sean didn’t tell you is that physical therapy is going to be at the doctorate level–so several mores years study than radiology (hence some salary difference!) so not an easy comparison.

well salary wise you’ll b making about 40 to 50 thousand a year and with the economy and gas prices and stuff that really isint all that great but if its what you like doing than go for it unless you dont like the salary i just graduated high school this june and im gonna study to become a physical therapist were the starting salary is 70 to 75 tho which is a big difference from 40 to 50 thousand so i suggest u check that out and good luck with whatever you decide to study in college
