Is bearshare lite illegal/safe/virusfree?
Of all p2p programs i.e. peer 2 peer sharing, bearshare is the single worst (my opinion). This is because in comparison to others like bearshare not as many people use it therefore slower download speeds. Technically it is illegal as most often it involves sharing copyrighted material. However if you live in Ireland think twice as there has been agreement between broadband providers and the music industry. This allows them to monitor your use of the internet and cut the connection if you are suspected of downloading. As for safe 9 times out of 10 its safe which aint bad.
