Is BCS affiliated with a church or denomination?
Not directly. There are more than 25 churches represented at BCS. The school was established in 1963 by members of the Brookfield Christian Reformed Church. But the governing body of the school is the BCS Society—parents and other interested supporters, represented by an elected School Board. While BCS enjoys the support and participation of a number of churches, we are a parent-run organization. No church’s council has direct governing authority over the school.
