Is barak obamam a socialist?
No he is not a socialist. He does believe strongly in the Democratic principle of bottom up economics. The idea is that you take money from those that are doing well and give it to those that aren’t. This will help the those on the bottom of the economic scale and theoretically will improve the overall economy. However, it doesn’t often work. It was once said (I forget who said it) that if you take the 10% richest people in the US and the 10% poorest people and give all of the money the rich people have to those that are poor. In a few years the rich would be rich again and the poor would again be poor. It takes more than money to move up the economic ladder and some people will never be able to move up no matter how much money you give them.
