Is BankSimple an interface that sits on top of my existing bank?
No. BankSimple has a growing group of banking partners. These partners hold our customers funds in FDIC insured products and ensure regulatory compliance. These banks, however, are not large banks and have been chosen for the safety of their balance sheets and their technological capabilities. BankSimple customers move their money from their existing banks to our platform. We do not aggregate information or connect to any banks that are not in our select partner group. BankSimple replaces your existing bank.
