Is Banfield animal hospital reliable?
Banfield’s Wellness Plans has its pros and cons. It does come out cheaper for a puppy or kitten than a independant hospital. Their plan includes the spay/neuter, heartworm testing, dewormings, all vaccines and boosters, bloodwork, office visits. That said, I wasn’t overly impressed with Banfield for diagnostic or sick care (above and beyond the common deworming and etc). I do use the plan for new kittens and puppies, but after the first year, I switch to a holistic or integrative vet. My only regret now, is I recommended it for my brother’s dog that my mom is taking care of and he has liver problems.
