Is balloon boy a celebrity now despite the fact the whole thing was a hoax?
Balloon boy and his family are having their 15 minutes of fame. This will stay in the media for a bit, while the case goes through the legal system, but my guess is that in a few months this whole hoax will mostly disappear from memory and go the same way as “The Runaway Bride”; another hoax that caught the public’s attention but vanished after a few months’ notoriety.
