Is Australia a safe destination to study and live in?
Yes, Australia is one of the safest countries in the world, largely as it is a continent and island of its own, and quite a way away from the rest of the world. The people are very friendly and accepting of all cultures, nationalities, religions and genders. The crime rate is very low and due to a small population and plenty of available space, people don’t tend to get in each other’s way! Australia is a democracy with local, state and federal governments all chosen by the people. There is political stability and a willingness to give all people a ‘fair go.
