All the parents at Weblogs Inc. love the Backyardigans. Eric, our resident podcasting expert, asked me today if Austin is a new character. He’s the purple kangaroo. He doesn’t appear in the original few shows – Riding the Range, Yeti, The Knights are Brave and Strong, Secret Mission. According to a nice man on the Nick Jr. Backyardigans message boards, he’s voiced by Jonah Bobo. IMDB says his singing voice is performed by Thomas Sharkey III.
