Is aurora borealis visible from Denmark?

Hi Nesseris Yes, you can see Aurora Borealis or Northern LIght in Denmark. It is not very common but in periods with a lot of metereological storms in the atmosphere it is quite common. This happens every eleventh year – the last time being in 2001-2002 and the next time in 2012-2013. So start putting money aside for a trip to Denmark then. Have a look at this picture which is taken in Southern Jutland in March 1991: http://www.dmi.dk/dmi/aurora31m.jpg. There is a lot of text and other stuff on www.dmi.dk, but everything is in Danish, unfortunately.
