Is asbestos dangerous and what do the colours of asbestos mean?
Asbestos fibres are dangerous when released into the air. Many older building products and insulations have asbestos based materials in them. The colours denote the different types of asbestos, but this can only be distiguished under the microscope and thereby establish what type of asbestos is contained in the material.
