Is ARRT recognized by the professional and governmental community?
The ARRT Board of Trustees includes members appointed by The American Society of Radiologic Technologists and the American College of Radiology. ARRT is recognized by states that license radiologic technologists. ARRT has contracted with those states to examine their applicants for radiologic technology licensure. The ARRT certificate is recognized worldwide as evidence of competence in radiologic technology. ARRT’s Radiography certificate is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA), the accrediting body of the National Organization for Competency Assurance (NOCA).
