A2. Armand Products Potassium Carbonate is made in a fluidized bed reactor and per se is not considered “calcined”. Fluidized bed is the preferred method of producing Potassium Carbonate in the world because it produces a high density, low dust product. Since the term “calcined” is often misused, the best way to determine whether Armand Products’ material is acceptable would be to review the product specifications and your handling requirements with Armand Technical Service.
