At its heart, AppointmentsPRO was designed as a client/server program. This means that it is intended to run on a standard local area network (L.A.N.). AppointmentsPRO does NOT support features such as Internet based patient self-scheduling or “true” web-based access via the Internet. However, by utilizing additional software such as Citrix MetaFrame or Microsoft Terminal Server it is possible to access the program from remote locations using an Internet connection and browser.
