Is Apple going to buy Electronic Arts(EA)?
When I say rumor I mean rumor. This strikes me as the least likely thing I’ve ever posted on this blog, and that includes the April Fool’s post from last year about MGS4 being a Wii exclusive. Nevertheless, the rumor is being spread by TheStreet.com rather than The Onion or something, so it’s my duty to report it: Rumor has it Apple is looking into buying Electronic Arts. Here’s the quote from a recap of Fast Money… Adami noted that there is chatter that Apple (AAPL Quote) is eyeing Electronic Arts (ERTS Quote) as a takeover target. And that’s it. The whole thing.
