Is anything really there named lack magic?

0

Some people tend to try to label magic with colors to specify intent (black meaning harmful or “evil” and white meaning positive or “good”). But magic itself is neither. Magic is energy. Energy has no color. Magic is directed by the individual working it, so the use of the magic depends on the intent and will of the practitioner. I would ask the question, is fire good or bad? Fire heats our homes in the winter and cooks our food, so it’s good, right? But what if a candle tips over in a home and the house catches fire, burns to the ground and renders the residents homeless? Did the fire itself intend to be used for a good or bad purpose? No. Proper use of fire by the individuals using it is beneficial to us, but carelessness with or misuse of fire can harm us. The same goes for magic.
