You being Rh negative probably has nothing to do with your bleeding, especially if it’s your first child. However, you should get the RH shot since you are experiencing bleeding. I, too, am RH negative, and DID have a bit of spotting in early pregnancy with my first child, but the doctor said that my blood type had nothing to do with it. I am now 6 weeks pregnant with my second child, and no bleeding thus far.
