Is anyone receiving unauthorized third party charges on their Cingular cell phone bill?
I’m currently working as a care rep for Sprint/Nextel on the Nextel side. Really, there’s not a lot that can be done, as the third party charges, right now, have to be handled through the third party. Billing to the phone company should be ILLEGAL, though. How easy would it be to just require all cell-phone third party deals to go through the individual, separate from normal services? Pretty darned easy, actually. The government needs to step up and help us out, or the big names need to pull together to fight third party crap. And always remember, changing your telephone number is a 5 minute process, at most. (and probably free, is with nextel).
