Is anyone reading/read City of Bones/Ashes/Glass?
Yeah I devoured them. They aren’t the best piece of writing I’ve ever read, but they were fun, kind of quick reads. They’re very fantastical, so you have to like that very unrealistic setting. If you didn’t like Harry Potter, I doubt you’d like it. There’s also a fair bit of romance, especially as you get to the second and third books. I’d definitely suggest trying City of Bones. I know online synopses may make it sound strange, but hey, Twilight sounds weird too and look how popular it is. By the way, I’m happy to answer any specific questions you have about the series.
