Is anyone given Priority on the Waiting List?
Yes – Families are given priority based on the following priority categories: • support to independence from social assistance • support where health, safety or well being is at significant risk • support to employment/training • supports to children with developmental and/or social needs supported with documentation from an approved referral source The first 2 categories are given top priority. The remaining categories are prioritized based on date of inquiry within a first come first served process.
