I am close to 50 but was part of People to People as a teenager. The exposure your HS student will get to culture will change his/her life for the better and help round out his/her education as a member of a global community. The dialog with other teens in the world and service as a student ambassador will help him/her see how ethnocentric we are in the US, and how risky that is in the global economy. And also, he’ll make lifelong friends!
