Is anyone else paranoid of porcelain dolls?
Funny you should say this. I was watching BBCA in the middle of the night one night. They had a show about women (in Britain) who collect lifelike dolls. One woman took her “babies” out in a pram. She went all the way to Washington, D.C. to take delivery of her newest baby, but rejected it because she found the head had been cracked. Another woman had a “reborn” doll made to look like her grandson at birth. Her daughter had moved to New Zealand and the grandmother had little contact with her grandson anymore. I really wasn’t sure I was hearing the story correctly, so I taped it to watch it during the light of day. Yeah, I heard it right. Wacko. No, I never had porcelain dolls. Now I’m glad I never did.
