Is any special training required to use Blackboard?
Not really. Students must have basic computer competencies such as sending and receiving e-mail, attaching a file to an e-mail message, navigating the Web, and using Microsoft Word and Power Point software. Students will find each course similarly structured with buttons on the screen noting where the syllabus, lecture material and assignments may be located. Specific information about locating faculty materials will be provided by faculty members teaching the course.
