Is any special software required to listen to the audio pronunciations?
Our audio pronunciation feature uses .wav (pronounced ‘dot-wave’) files, a common type of audio file. Most modern browsers support this type of file either internally or externally via software such as Windows Media Player, RealOne Player/Real Player, or QuickTime. To check if your system can properly handle .wav files, click here. You should hear the word example. If you cannot hear the word, refer to our audio pronunciation help FAQ.
