If I recall correctly Answers.com pays the Mediawiki Foundation to use up to date content from Wikipedia on its site along with material from other online reference sources. The Wikipedia entry has a link to the Wikipedia disclaimer and warns, “This entry is from Wikipedia, the leading user-contributed encyclopedia. It may not have been reviewed by professional editors” What it does not say, which is well known by anyone knowledgeable regarding the nature of information, is that material reviewed by professional editiors also contain errors.
