Is Anne of Green Gables an interesting book to read?

Yes, this is a really good book I enjoyed reading. Anne really cracks me up. An old brother and sister decide to adopt a boy to help on their farm, but get Anne instead. She has so many adventures in the town, and is the risk taker out of all the girls. She is really smart and is always competing with one boy for top grades in her class. Her best friend is a beauty named Dianne. There is also a romance in the book too, which continues throughout the series. All in all, a great tart to a series. So far, I’ve read the first three, the series is, in order: Anne of Green Gables 2 Anne of Avonlea 3 Anne of the Island 4 Anne of Windy Poplars 5 Anne’s House of Dreams 6 Anne of Ingleside 7 Rainbow Valley 8 Rilla of Ingleside You can read them online at the Project Gutenberg website, if you want to continue the series and don’t have the books. (It’s legal they are out of copyright). Happy reading!
