Is anesthesia used for piercing?
For many reason the answer is a strong NO. There are a few different types of anesthesia, none of which are safe or acceptable for piercing. The only piercers who use anesthesia are doing so to cover up for their own mistakes and inability to pierce properly. A trained professional performs a piercing so quick and smooth that it hurts less than the piercings performed by the non-professionals who use anesthesia.
