It depends on the bar. Here the bar is held responsible if they serve liquor to underage people who used out of state IDs, so by law they only HAVE to accept Massachusetts ID. However, many bars accept other IDs or if you look old enough, won’t even card you. Stores are usually stricter than bars, so you’d be much more likely to have trouble at a liquor store.
