Is an online or hybrid class harder and/or more time consuming?
We can answer this with a definite “maybe.” The online and hybrid courses are designed to be as time-consuming and challenging as face-to-face (f2f) courses. Yet some people find that the format of an online course makes it much more difficult. Some find the opposite. Some students find that an online class is way more demanding and time consuming. Others feel that the freedom of not being in class makes the course much less demanding on their schedules. Students vary.
