Is an interactive outdoor safety website viable?
I am currently in the process of developing an outdoor safety website that will allow users to log-in when they begin a trip / activity and log out when the activity is complete. If the user does not log out, then the user’s predetermined list of contacts will be notified advising that the user did not return. The contact will then advise the authorities of the details. This will be marketed to the amatuer adventurer and can work with any sport or activity. This will be an additional tool that the user can use to assure a safe return. There will be multiple ways to log in/out and manage the account. There are many more details, but I am trying to keep this short. *I am trying to determine the user cost per year / month and was hoping for some input. I am curious as to the viability of this concept, especially given the relatively low start-up cost. I am open to any criticism, comments, or ideas.
