Is an error message showing on the front control/display panel?
If so, refer to the Operator’s Guide for information about error messages. Error code numbers typically indicate that the printer hardware requires service. (Note: Some of the error messages for the 8650/8650 PS Color Printers are also online.) • Does the paper size showing on the panel match the size of the paper that is actually in the paper tray? If not, the paper tray may be adjustable but not set properly. Check the paper-size selection switch on the side of the tray and, if necessary, set it to the proper size. • Is the printer in the appropriate mode (PostScript or Raster)? Use PostScript mode for printing any and all PostScript files. Use the Raster mode only when you are using the export module supplied by Kodak in conjunction with ADOBE PHOTOSHOP Software or when you are using another vendor’s application that specifically states that it can be used with KODAK Printers in the Raster mode.
