Is an Arachnoid Cysts considered a tumor?

• I was wondering if someone could answer my question regarding tumor enhancement on MRI. My daughter’s (2 years old, diagnosed 16 months ago) last MRI showed reduced enchancement (low-grade astrocytoma, stable since diagnosis) despite not having received treatment of ANY sort. Is there an explanation or not? • My son had an astrocytoma when he was 7 years old. He had surgery and a radiotherapy treatment. Now he is 19 years old and apart from the normal problem of reduced intelligence, he could have a good life. But on average, he has two epilepsy attacks a day and that makes life very difficult. The attacks are small; he has a bad feeling and is paralyzed on the left side for approximately two minutes. That is enough to fall in a shop or on a street and makes his life miserable. CT scans do not show any growth of the tumor. He has anti-epilepsy medicines, and a lot of different medicines have been tried, but it never stops and I think it is getting worse. Because it is never mentioned
