Is an apple laptop powerbook 3g wireless compatible?

I think that you mean a PowerBook G3. According to MacTracker, this laptop did not have built in wireless networking capability (Apple calls it AirPort). However, all of the computers in this series do have type II CardBus compliant ports. So, you may be able to find a wireless adapter that will work with it.
