Is an ALC required to implement its most recent approved plan of correction?
A. Yes. 910 KAR 1:240 states that certification may be revoked if an ALC fails to implement its most recent approved plan of correction under current ownership and within the plan of correction’s specified timeframe. BP. It is recommended that an ALC’s plan of correction should carefully outline attainable action to correct an area of noncompliance within a realistic time frame, without making unrealistic or unnecessary assurances.
