Is an afterlife even possible considering all of our five senses cease with death?
I hear the voice of a spirit that claims to be God™. That means conversation with a spirit that claims to be God Almighty. I can only tell you what this spirit has told me. I will keep it as brief as I can and try to limit it to my copy/psate responses, too. Our consciousness exists inside of the spirit that lives inside of us. The quality of our ‘life’ while we are dead depends absolutely on how He feels about us personally. It has nothing to do with religious adherance, as there is no religion associated with our having been created. Every religion is a lie. The spirit inside of me has been talking to me since 1987. He claimed to be a spirit several times, but I refused to believe Him. I thought that my mind was beling phucked with by people with a technology, because of the content of what was being said to me. That is the whole idea and point behind spiritual awareness and spiritual practice, what the Hindu’s call, ‘Sadhana’ and the Christians call spiritual disciplines. Within us is a realm of Spirit that can be experience and it is an experience that comes without the senses, an experience that has a reality so far above the limited experience of the material world that those who experience it ‘know’ it is the Reality behind that limited experience. “Be still and know that I Am God” is the idea. When the mind and emotions and ego are stilled we experience our selves as spirit and realize that is our true nature. Then death loses its sting and we realize there is no death except that the body returns from whence it came, the atoms revert to their chemical components as the body breaks down. We are the awareness in the body and not the body at all. We don’t have to die to experience this and yet it is a form of dying, the death of the ego/mind sense of self and the awakening of our spirit. T
