No, Aluminium (or aluminum) is non-magnetic and so the magnet will not stick to it. There are several products of aluminum, esp. in aerospace industry because of its light weight and high strength/weight ratio. Many light weight cooking utensils are also made of anodised aluminum. Austenitic stainless steel is also non-magnetic but is generally highly poilshed and is heavier. Ah yes, the foil that is used to wrap some food items is generally made of aluminum.
