Is allstate insurance company good for auto insurance?
I switched from State Farm a few months ago, they always had random rate hikes and I just couldn’t take it anymore. I switched to Nationwide and I LOVE them, my agent is amazing, my rates are lower, and every 6 months he calls and asks what’s new in my life to try and lower my rates even more. I’m beyond happy with them. My friend was in an accident and had Allstate, her family has had the policy for 15 or so years and they never had any problems. This was the first accident they had that was actually their fault, she slid in the rain at a red light (in a Honda Civic) and ended up going underneath a 15 passenger van. Her car was destroyed (the estimated speed at impact was 11 mph…) she was fine and the van had a bent bumper, no other damage. They had so many issues with Allstate from the accident they ended up switching to Nationwide after all that time, they said their rate was almost the same.
