Any sort of illegal material gets removed from active wikis quite quickly. Several wikis, such as the popular Wikipedia, have received threats of legal action, but none have yet been followed through. Under United States and international law, Wikia and other hosts, such as the Wikimedia Foundation, are not responsible for defamation posted on its wikis by users & editors.
