Is all coursework online? Do students have to come to campus?
The theory courses are online, and the clinical courses are completed on site. Students must attend a mandatory orientation on campus (one day) at the beginning of the program, then do not have to be on campus again until the skills lab course (NURS 246) in the spring. This course is generally scheduled immediately prior to the clinical courses, and requires about four days on campus. • How is testing in the courses completed? All course tests are completed online. Each course has a final exam which must be taken with an approved proctor. Students are responsible for finding their own proctors, according to the LCC Nursing eLearning Proctor Policy. Any proctoring fees are the responsibility of the student. • Do clinical hours from my Practical Nurse educational program count toward the required 1,000 hours of work experience?
